"Diary Of A Call Girl" Clip
In the scene there is no non- diegetic sound track there is only plain dialogue. In the clip all we can hear is the dialogue, sound is slightly enhanced. We can hear the riffling of the envelope helps to emphasises that this is a business transaction also it emphasises the awkwardness in the scene. The locking of the door "Click Clacking" again emphasises the awkwardness and his sense of vulnerability. Within the dialogue the father and call girl leave a lot of their sentences unfinished another clear sign of not knowing what what to say. The dialogue is punctuated by awkward silences . Diegetic soundtrack, the classical music is the complete opposite to how he's feeling. He is fidgety which is a show to his anxiety this is emphasised with the window going up and down also with the accidental beep of the horn. A sound bridge from the father in the car then to the call girl and the son in the flat. The soundtrack music is slow and mellow which almost makes you feel sorry for him especially as he talks about never been touched in a certain type of way before. The musics main instrument is a harmonica, harmonicas are usually played for the blues this ties is with how he is feeling.

Transitions Of "Diary Of a Call Girl" Clip
Jump outs- a carrying action which draws attention to the passage of time, continuing editing is used throughout the clip.
Eyeline Match - Close up of her looking at the disabled boy then a shoot of the father looking awkward this helps expressing the awkwardness surrounding his disability. The low angle shows the disabled boys point of view which emphasises his disability.
Two match on actions, first when he picks him up from the wheel than when he places him on the bed this helps to show the seemless action within the clip.
Another eyeline of match of him in the bed looking at her locking the door this draws attention to his feeling of vulnerability.
It then cross cuts to the father outside getting into the van.
Shot reverse shot during the conversation with little dialogue creates that feeling of awkwardness, which is only because of his disability.
There is an eye shot from the dad then the point of view shot looking at the building you assume he has come out of. This shows the anxiety the father is feeling, the jump cuts show the restlessness of the father.

Camera Shots
When filming camera crews use a wide range of different shots to create different effects. In class we watched the "Monarch of the Glen" clip again an pointed out and named the different shots that were used and what effect the had.
Here are all the shots that we learned in lesson an the shots used in the clip:
There is a Over the Shoulder Shot and a Medium Long Shot, she is shown to be the main person in this shot also it is used in establishing the location and it establishes her costume which shows us as the audience that she is young in age.
A Close Up shot is used when she gets in the car ,this shot shows the confusion in her face and also it shows that she dosent know how to drive the car. This creates another represantion of age as you can tell she is still a child.
Wide Shot when the cars crash is used to give a sense of idea to where and what the location is.
Panning from person to person helps to establish the height difereance between the characters. Tilt shot is usually used to reveal something, in the clip there is a close up shot of the note she leaves behind.
In the clip the camera does a slow zoom to go closer into the photograph which emphasises her emotions. The emphasis of her emotions builds up the representation of age.
The tilt the camera used in the clip makes it obvious that she left by jumping out the window.
Showing from his eye level, the tall man it shows that the scene is being seen from his perspective. Last shot is his face close up to show his guilt.
Here are all the shots that we learned in lesson an the shots used in the clip:

"Monarch Of The Glen " Clip
The clip shows the representation of age in the sense that the sixteen year old in the clip fits into the stereotype to what is perceived as how teenagers look and behave. I as a viewer got this impression immediately when i saw the girl, she is dressed in a way to appeal to her age wearing jeans and a simple top and what looks like trainers. She comes out of the house looking over at what looks to be an older boy. This is a typical teenage portrayal cliche in the sense that it is a very common showing that teenage girls always go through this faze of liking or going with older boys. Also it ties with the teenage "period" of just being heavily aware of the opposite sex. Another representation of age is when she is told to pack her bags and leave she gives a little tantrum before storming to her room. This is a typical convention used for teenagers especially teenage girls, it goes with the portrayal that teenage girls are highly emotional. Towards the end of the clip we see that instead of returning back to school to do her exams she instead decides to pack her bags and run away. A common and largely shown action that is commonly done by teenagers.
